We have so much fun doing great work to strengthen our community, while building lasting friendships and creating meaningful lives for ourselves and those around us.

Leadership positions currently available

  • Director of Events — This is a board level position that requires a minimum of 10-12 hours per month, and possibly more during months leading up to the Festival. You must attend monthly board meetings and are in charge of managing event budgets, overseeing all events-related details, and being the point of contact between the Events Manager, event volunteers, and the board. Experience and interest in writing grants would be particularly useful in this role. The three events you oversee are the Spring Gala, the Campbellford Incredible Edible Festival, and the IncrEdible Farm Tour.
  • Director of Marketing and Communications — This is a board level position that requires a minimum of 10-12 hours per month. You must attend monthly board meetings and you support all marketing-related activities across the organization, less the social media. You are in regular contact with our social media manager, our website designer, various volunteer or contracted graphic designers, and our printers. You are in charge of keeping the website up to date and getting posters out for all events. You also oversee all festival TV, radio, and print ads.
  • Artisan Vender Liaison The core activities of this role take place over 7 months, from January to mid-July, however we expect all leadership roles to support general activities year-round (such as our Gala Fundraiser and AGM x). Your job is to find 20 artisan vendors for the festival, maintain communication with them leading up to the festival, and help them to meet all requirements of being a vendor. You would report to the Event Manager and work in partnership with the Food Vendor Liaison and the Vendor Committee. This job would require approximately 10-15 hours per month, depending on the requirements of each month’s activities.

Non-leadership positions

  • We are always looking for volunteers of all capacities to help with various tasks as they arise and to participate in our events, the community gardens, or with the school nutrition program. Please reach out if you have any interest in our activities, and any time to give on a regular basis, or sporadically.

Festival volunteers We are looking for volunteers for the 2024 IncrEdible Edible Festival on Saturday July 13 to help with greeting guests, stickering, taking donations, maintaining the site, set-up (July 12), teardown (July 14), and other general duties. Please reach out ASAP if you can volunteer with us for the day.
